CIRCO APOCALIPTICO
Apocalypse is an announcement of mysterious happenings; apocalypse is a prophecy of what`s to come, a vision filled with images, numbers; unusual and incomprehensible contents. Everything has symbolic value; objects, body parts, situations and atmospheres, even the characters themselves as they enter the stage; and it is expressing itself by using an incomprehensible language which requires deciphering. Whilst describing a vision, a visionary is translating ideas suggested by God into symbols. To understand him, one must accept the game and translate the ideas and symbols he suggests. Apocalypse is the symbol of the last days on Earth.
If we look at it from the point of psychoanalysis, apocalypse could represent collapse and the end of the known world, boundaries and values of the conscious personality.  The light of day falls on imagery, images and various associations. They are announced forcefully and often under pressure. This imagery carries a message which is completely incomprehensible to the one who is experiencing them. It comes from deeper, unknown layers of personality, and introduces contents, states and values to a dreamer or a visionary, an imagery one is still unaware of but should take into consideration. Therefore, apocalypse represents a symbol of transformation; death of the old and known and a promise and a birth of a new man. Deciphering these messages demands an enormous amount of effort and commitment. It takes a lot of patience, experience and an open-minded point of view to understand the deeper voices and messages of an inner being emerging through a process of individuation of a person.
Circo, in the respect of a circus arena, would represent a stage with unusual, almost surreal events. Imagery, movements and masks, as well as the structure of the play itself are often metaphors of life, mind-states and challenges. Circo also means a circle and as a perfect form symbolizes personality or the person’s aspirations towards wholeness.
I use photographs of a contemporary media expression as a starting point for my work. Process of selection is spontaneous and associative in motives as well as in settings of the elements in the composition. Contents and logic of the scene are vague and demand later analysis. But the approach enables the projection of inner contents on to the motif I am realizing. That way the scenes, characters or recognizable signs and graphic solutions of the marketing industry are renamed into one personal language and set. Art-works facilitate an insight into processes and unconscious events. Their imagery reveals traces of current events and changes within the whole structure of personality. Creative process and self-realization is the key motif of my work and approach.

Wall Drawing
Wall drawing, mural, as well as graffiti, stencils and wall messages are most often motivated by the artists need to be socially engaged and to point out some of his or the represented groups attitudes, or they are complicated  narratives expressing various social changes, movements, social injustices or collective ideas. Looking through the history of art, maybe Mexican wall painting is the most representative example, as well as recent images on the walls around the world, one global phenomenon of street and public works of art which are becoming more and more precise in style, way and chosen theme. In that respect, I have found my approach of how to express my technical and creative artistic abilities in a public space. The starting point of my work is a “small drawing”, art medium which is most often the most intimate, the most spontaneous and most direct record of artists thoughts, feelings and attitudes. Project is based on the idea to translate my attitudes about myself and the society, manifested through the spontaneous artistic expression of a “small drawing”, into monumental dimensions and thus draw attention to a wider social context of my approach. Project implies performance of the drawing with charcoal on a wall of a gallery. Choice of template, as well as the composition, is dependant on the space I am reacting in.
